Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: October 14, 2026
Please read these Terms and Conditions (these "Terms") carefully before using this website. By accessing or using www.myhealingring.com, including any page, form, account, or content made available through it (collectively, the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site.
1. Who We Are
The Site is operated by The Healing Ring, LLC, a California limited liability company ("Manager"), which provides administrative, marketing, technology, and other non-clinical business support services to The Healing Ring, A Professional Corporation, a California professional medical corporation (the "Practice"). The Practice holds a Fictitious Name Permit issued by the Medical Board of California authorizing it to practice under the name "The Healing Ring." In these Terms, "The Healing Ring," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the Practice and Manager, each acting within its own role as described in this Section.
All medical services, including evaluations, diagnoses, treatment recommendations, prescriptions, procedures, and all other clinical care, are provided exclusively by the Practice through its California-licensed physicians and nurse practitioners, under the direction of the Practice's Medical Director, Paryus Patel, MD. Manager does not practice medicine, does not provide medical services, and does not direct or control the professional judgment of any clinician.
Our office is located at 501 E. Hardy Street, Suite 160, Inglewood, California 90301. You may contact us at info@myhealingring.com or (310) 954-2010.
2. The Site Does Not Provide Medical Advice
The content on the Site, including all text, graphics, images, videos, guides, and other materials, is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not medical advice, it is not a substitute for a consultation and examination by a licensed clinician, and it should not be used to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any health condition. Nothing on the Site creates a provider-patient relationship between you and the Practice or any of its clinicians. A provider-patient relationship is formed only after you have been evaluated by one of our clinicians and accepted as a patient, and that relationship is governed by the consent forms and other agreements you sign as a patient.
Always seek the advice of your physician or another qualified health care provider with any questions you may have about a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you have read on the Site.
If you think you may have a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately. Do not use the Site, the contact form, email, or text messaging to request help with an urgent or emergency medical matter. These channels are not monitored around the clock.
3. Eligibility
The Site is intended for use by adults who are at least 18 years of age. If you are under 18, you may use the Site only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. Whether the Practice accepts a minor as a patient is determined by the Practice in its clinical discretion, with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, and in accordance with applicable law.
4. Services, Results, and Prescription Treatments
Descriptions of services, treatments, and programs on the Site are general summaries and are subject to change without notice. Not every service is appropriate for every person. Whether a particular treatment is recommended for you will be determined only after an appropriate medical evaluation by a California-licensed clinician of the Practice, and the Practice may decline to provide any service in the exercise of its clinical judgment.
Prescription medications, hormone therapies, intravenous therapies, and other prescription-only products or services are available only after an appropriate medical evaluation by a California-licensed clinician and may not be suitable for all individuals.
Any statements on the Site about the benefits of a service, and any photographs, videos, or descriptions of patient experiences, are provided for informational purposes only and are not a promise or guarantee of any particular outcome. Individual results vary. To the extent the Site refers to dietary supplements, nutritional therapies, or wellness programs, any statements about those products or programs have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and those products and programs are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
5. Consultation Requests, Appointments, and Payment
The Site allows you to request a consultation by submitting a contact form. Submitting a request does not create an appointment, does not guarantee that an appointment will be available, and does not create a provider-patient relationship. A member of our team will follow up with you to discuss scheduling.
The contact form and email are not secure channels for medical information. Please do not include diagnoses, symptoms, medications, test results, or other sensitive health information in the contact form or in an email to us. If you become a patient, we will collect that information through our secure intake process.
Fees, payment terms, deposits, cancellation and no-show policies, and refund policies for services are provided to you when you schedule or at intake and are set out in the Practice's financial policy and patient agreements, which control over these Terms with respect to services. Many of our services are elective and may not be covered by health insurance. You are responsible for confirming coverage and for paying any amounts that are not covered. If you are uninsured or choose not to use insurance, you have the right under federal law to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of scheduled services, as described in Section 16.
If we offer telehealth services, they are provided only with your informed consent, only to patients who are physically located in a state in which the treating clinician is licensed at the time of the visit, and in accordance with the Practice's telehealth policies and applicable law. Telehealth services are held to the same standard of care as in-person visits, and a clinician may require an in-person evaluation when clinically appropriate.
6. Patient Support Accounts
Certain areas of the Site, including the "Patient Support" area, require an account. Accounts are made available at our discretion to current patients and to others we approve. You agree to provide accurate registration information, to keep your login credentials confidential, and to notify us promptly at info@myhealingring.com if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We may suspend or terminate any account at any time, with or without notice.
The Patient Support area provides general wellness guides, educational materials, and similar resources. It is not a patient portal, an electronic health record, or a secure messaging system, and it is not a substitute for communicating directly with your clinician. Do not post or upload medical records, test results, or other health information to the Site. Resources made available in the Patient Support area are general in nature and should be used only as directed by your clinician. Any third-party products or services referenced in that area are subject to the third party's own terms, and we are not responsible for them.
7. Electronic Communications and Text Messages
By providing your email address or telephone number to us through the Site, you consent to receive communications from us by email, telephone, and text message relating to your inquiry, your appointments, and your care. You also agree that we may provide notices, disclosures, and other communications to you electronically, and that electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement that a communication be in writing.
We will send marketing or promotional text messages only with your prior express written consent, which you may give by opting in (for example, by checking a box or texting a keyword to us). Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, and you may reply HELP for assistance. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link included in each message. Email and text messaging are not secure methods of communication. If you prefer that we not communicate with you by email or text, or wish to limit the information included in those communications, please let us know.
8. Intellectual Property
The Site and its contents, including all text, graphics, logos, images, videos, page design, and software, are owned by or licensed to Manager or the Practice and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. "The Healing Ring" and the related logos, names, and slogans used on the Site are trademarks or service marks of The Healing Ring, LLC and are used by the Practice under license. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Site, and to view and print content from the Site, solely for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publicly display, create derivative works from, or otherwise exploit any content from the Site without our prior written permission. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.
If you believe that content on the Site infringes your copyright, please contact us at info@myhealingring.com with a description of the copyrighted work, the location of the allegedly infringing material on the Site, your contact information, and a statement of your good-faith belief that the use is not authorized.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree that you will not: (a) use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site, to other users' accounts, or to any systems or networks connected to the Site; (c) use any robot, spider, scraper, or other automated means to access the Site or to collect content or data from it; (d) interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Site or the servers or networks used to make it available; (e) upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code; (f) impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity; (g) submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information; (h) collect or harvest information about other users; or (i) use the Site to harass, defame, or harm others or to send unsolicited communications. We may investigate violations of this Section, suspend or terminate your access to the Site, and take any other action we consider appropriate, including referral to law enforcement.
10. Third-Party Websites, Social Media, and Reviews
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, social media platforms, and services, including scheduling, payment, and product vendors. These links are provided for your convenience only. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the content, privacy practices, or terms of use of any third-party website or service, and a link does not imply our endorsement. Your use of third-party websites and services is at your own risk and is subject to their terms and policies.
If you choose to post a review, comment, or other content about us on a third-party platform, please remember that those platforms are public and that we cannot remove or control content you post there. To protect patient privacy, we do not confirm or deny whether any person is or was a patient, and we may be limited by law in how we respond to public reviews. We do not use an identifiable patient's name, image, or story in our marketing without the patient's written authorization.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ON IT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT THE SITE OR THE SERVERS THAT MAKE IT AVAILABLE ARE FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR TIMELINESS OF ANY CONTENT ON THE SITE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
This Section applies only to the Site and its content. It does not disclaim or limit any duty that the Practice or its clinicians owe to you as a patient in connection with medical services actually provided to you.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NONE OF THE PRACTICE, MANAGER, OR THEIR RESPECTIVE OWNERS, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, CLINICIANS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, OR AGENTS WILL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SITE OR ITS CONTENT, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SITE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).
NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS OR EXCLUDES ANY LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED OR EXCLUDED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW. THE LIMITATIONS IN THIS SECTION APPLY ONLY TO CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT. THEY DO NOT APPLY TO, AND DO NOT LIMIT, ANY CLAIM RELATING TO PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL SERVICES ACTUALLY PROVIDED TO YOU BY THE PRACTICE, WHICH IS GOVERNED BY APPLICABLE LAW AND BY YOUR PATIENT AGREEMENTS.
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Practice, Manager, and their respective owners, directors, officers, clinicians, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, your violation of any law or of the rights of any third party, or any content or information you submit through the Site.
14. Dispute Resolution; Binding Arbitration; Class Action Waiver
Please read this Section carefully. It affects your legal rights, including your right to bring a claim in court.
(a) Scope. This Section applies to any dispute, claim, or controversy between you and the Practice or Manager arising out of or relating to the Site, its content, or these Terms (a "Dispute"). This Section does not apply to claims relating to the professional medical services provided to you by the Practice or its clinicians. Those claims are governed by applicable law and by any separate agreement you sign as a patient.
(b) Informal Resolution. Before starting an arbitration or lawsuit, you agree to first send us a written description of the Dispute and the relief you are seeking, by email to info@myhealingring.com or by mail to the address in Section 20, and to give us at least thirty (30) days to try to resolve the Dispute with you informally.
(c) Arbitration. If a Dispute is not resolved informally, it will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its Consumer Arbitration Rules then in effect, before a single neutral arbitrator. The Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this Section. The arbitration will take place in Los Angeles County, California, unless you and we agree otherwise or the AAA rules provide for a telephone, video, or document-based hearing. Payment of filing, administrative, and arbitrator fees will be governed by the AAA rules. The arbitrator has exclusive authority to resolve any dispute about the interpretation, applicability, or enforceability of this Section, and may award on an individual basis any relief that a court could award. Judgment on the arbitrator's award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
(d) Exceptions. Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court if the claim qualifies. Either party may also seek injunctive or other equitable relief in court to protect its intellectual property rights or to prevent unauthorized access to or use of the Site. Nothing in this Section waives your right to seek public injunctive relief in court to the extent that right cannot be waived under California law.
(e) Class Action Waiver. YOU AND WE EACH AGREE THAT DISPUTES WILL BE RESOLVED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. The arbitrator may not consolidate the claims of more than one person and may not preside over any form of class or representative proceeding. If this class action waiver is found to be unenforceable as to a particular claim, then that claim (and only that claim) will be severed from arbitration and decided in court, and the remainder of this Section will continue to apply.
(f) Opt-Out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to info@myhealingring.com or to the address in Section 20 within thirty (30) days after you first accept these Terms. Your notice must include your name, address, and a statement that you wish to opt out of arbitration. Opting out will not affect any other provision of these Terms.
15. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms and any Dispute are governed by the laws of the State of California and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to Section 14, you agree that any court proceeding arising out of or relating to the Site or these Terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts.
16. Regulatory and Patient Notices
Notice to Patients (Medical Board of California). Medical doctors are licensed and regulated by the Medical Board of California. To check a license or file a complaint, go to www.mbc.ca.gov, email licensecheck@mbc.ca.gov, or call (800) 633-2322.
Notice Regarding Nurse Practitioners (Board of Registered Nursing). Nurse practitioners are licensed and regulated by the California Board of Registered Nursing. A nurse practitioner is not a physician and surgeon. To verify a nurse practitioner's license or to file a complaint, visit www.rn.ca.gov or call (916) 322-3350.
Fictitious Name Permit. The Practice provides medical services under the name "The Healing Ring" pursuant to Fictitious Name Permit No. 562606 issued by the Medical Board of California.
Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate (No Surprises Act). Under federal law, health care providers must give patients who do not have insurance, or who are not using insurance, an estimate of the expected charges for medical items and services.
- You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs such as medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and facility fees.
- Make sure your provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
- If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
- Keep a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
- For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 985-3059.
17. Accessibility
We are committed to making the Site accessible to people with disabilities and are working to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. If you have difficulty accessing any part of the Site, or need information in an alternative format, please contact us at info@myhealingring.com or (310) 954-2010, and we will work with you to provide the information or service you need.
18. Changes to the Site and to These Terms
We may modify the Site or these Terms at any time. When we make material changes to these Terms, we will update the Effective Date above and post the revised Terms on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after revised Terms are posted means that you accept the changes. We may also suspend or discontinue the Site, or any part of it, at any time without notice.
19. General Provisions
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any patient agreements you sign with the Practice, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later. You may not assign these Terms. We may assign these Terms to an affiliate or successor, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation. To the extent permitted by law, any claim arising out of or relating to the Site or these Terms must be brought within one (1) year after the claim accrues.
